QUOTE OF THE DAY

"COURAGE DOES NOT ALWAYS ROAR--SOMETIMES IT IS THE QUIET VOICE AT THE END OF THE DAY SAYING 'I WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW'"

That one is for all of us who have those days where we really question our training or are having off days in our training. This was prompted by some comments that Sarah had made in her blog recently about her battles with her training.
Remeber -- in life or in training --"IT ISN'T THE DESTINATION THAT COUNTS - IT IS THE JOURNEY"

Well, I finally got back to my own training yesterday after taking 3 days off after Vegas. Yesterday and today I did treadmill hill interval training which is becoming my favorite workout -- it is such a great endurance workout and after Vegas I swear by my endurance workouts -- now I am just pumping up the speed to combine speed and endurance --- that is my primary goal now -- to increase my stamina and speed. So yesterday, I did a touch over 11km and today just over 13km plus doing some core weights. It sure felt great to be back at it --cant wait to do a long walk with my training partner Glenn on the weekend. He and his wonderful family were a great source of support for Vegas and I am looking forward to be able to see them and thank them

Have a great weekend everyone --only 9 shopping days left till the big guy in the red suit shows up.
