As some of you may know my son is a professional mixed martial arts fighter as well as a martial arts teacher. A bit of sad news from his fight in Montreal last night - the winner of this fight was to fight for the Canadian championship -- unfortunately he lost in the 2nd round by TKO - only his second defeat - more importantly though he is okay physically - and mentally he is strong enough to come back if that is what he wants.
This is the motivation behind today's 2nd quote ---"your character is what you really are - your reputation is merely what others think you are" --David, you have a ton of character -- in the end, what else matters --- it is the journey, my son, not the destination that counts. We love you David - stay safe, stay positive - a parent's love is UNCONDITIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
